Tell your state lawmakers to move California beyond plastic

We have a chance to slash plastic waste in California by 75 percent.

The Plastic Pollution Reduction Act represents a major step toward solving our plastic pollution crisis. Among other necessary policies, it would set a date by which all single-use plastics in our state must be recyclable or compostable.

A version of this bill stalled out in the Legislature two years in a row, and in that time plastic waste has continued to pile up in landfills, litter our communities and threaten our environment.
