Take Action Against Plastic Pollution

It's in the news almost daily: thanks to extraordinary amounts of production and waste, microplastic pollution is clogging the oceans, the air, our food and drinking water, and even our bodies.

Senator Ben Allen and Assembly Member Lorena Gonzalez are championing two bills in the California legislature that would require manufacturers to significantly reduce wasteful single-use plastic and packaging over the next ten years.

Unfortunately, the plastics industry is opposing the bills, so our legislators need to hear from you, too.
