Tell your state senator: Protect public health, ban toxic PFAS

PFAS chemicals are used in some food packaging, where they can leach into the food and then into our bodies. Research has linked PFAS to serious health risks, including liver damage, birth defects and cancer. To make matters worse, PFAS have been nicknamed "forever chemicals" because they don't break down in our bodies or in the environment.

We should be phasing out PFAS wherever possible, starting with our food packaging. Send a message to your state senator now, telling them to ban toxic PFAS.
